Privacy.
The short version: we count visits so we know which activities work. We collect nothing about your child.
What stays on your phone
Your children's ages, which activities you've ticked off, your ratings before you send them and whether you've dismissed the home-screen tip are all stored in your browser. Today's activities are saved there too so the page loads faster. None of this reaches us unless you send it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
What we measure
If you agree to analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used. It records your rough location (city level, from your IP address), your device and browser type, the screens you open and which activities you tap into. IP addresses are anonymised before they're stored.
We use this to decide which activities to write more of, which to drop and whether families come back the next day. Nothing else.
Ratings you send us
After finishing all three, you can mark each one "Loved it" or "Not for us" and tell us why. Nothing is sent until you tap the send button. We store the activity, your child's age, your answer, the reason you picked and any short note you wrote.
Each send carries a random code that changes every day. It lets us keep only your latest answer if you change your mind. It isn't linked to your name, email or device.
Messages you send us
If you use "Tell us what you think", we store your first name, your message, the type of note and your email address if you chose to add one. Your children's ages are included so we know which age group it relates to.
We only quote a message on the site if you ticked the box saying that's OK. Only your first name appears. Email addresses are used to reply to you and nothing else.
What we never do
- Ask for your child's name, photo or anything that identifies them
- Show adverts or share your data with advertisers
- Sell your data to anyone for any reason
- Make you create an account or password
Changing your mind
Analytics is off until you agree. You can switch it back off at any time using the "Analytics" link at the bottom of the home page. Turn it off and nothing more is recorded.
Children
PuzzleBub is made for a parent or carer to use alongside a child. We don't knowingly collect any personal data from children. The activities need nothing from us to work.
Getting in touch
For anything privacy-related, including asking us to delete what you've sent, use Tell us what you think on the home page and pick "Something's off". It comes straight to the two of us.
